About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop software requirement specification (SRS) documents supporting functional requirements affecting Mail.dat and Mail.XML technical file specifications
- Manage, update, and maintain supported technical specifications and guides
- Develop new specifications and guides for new or revised functionality across systems
- Support review of Technical Requirement Documents (TRD)
- Develop and update test scripts
- Perform customer acceptance testing
- Perform production validation through smoke testing and functional testing
- Document testing outcomes and provide artifacts
- Provide TLSC documentation and Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM)
- Participate in mail industry meetings/forums and Mailer Technical Advisory Committee (MTAC) workgroups, task groups, and user groups
- Develop performance metrics to track and report Customer Acceptance Testing status
- Develop automated test scripts
- Develop training materials, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and application guides
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- US Citizenship is required
- An active Public Trust level clearance is required
- A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in CS, IT, or another science-related field
- Experience eliciting and documenting business processes and requirements
- Experience analyzing business processes and recommending improvements
- Experience creating manual and automated test scripts using Python, Selenium, AFT, etc.
- Experience performing customer acceptance testing or user acceptance testing
- Experience documenting test results and providing test artifacts
- Experience performing production validation through smoke testing, regression testing, and functional testing
- Experience working with CSV, XML, JSON, and relational databases
- Experience with MS M365 tools: MS Excel, Word, Project, Visio, Access, and Workflow
- Experience with software test management using Agile and/or Waterfall methodology
- ISTQB (CTAL-TAE), ISTQB (CT-AI), or similar certification
- Mail.DAT and Mail.XML knowledge is preferred
- Experience with AI-based automation testing tools is preferred
- Software Testing certification is preferred
- Knowledge of SQL, Java, and Python scripting languages is preferred/optional
