About the role

  • Implementation of specialized agents, orchestration of workflows, tool-/function-calling, and state & context management
  • Human-in-the-loop processes as well as error and fallback strategies
  • Development of RAG architectures, prompt/context engineering, structured outputs, guardrails, and evaluation logic for reliable and secure results
  • Versioning of prompts, models, and configurations
  • CI/CD for AI services, automated tests and evaluations, rollout/rollback strategies, and optimization for cost, latency, and quality
  • Integration with APIs, data sources, vector databases, event/message systems, and existing business systems with consideration for security, IAM, and data protection/privacy
  • Monitoring, tracing, logging, KPI/quality metrics, incident analysis, and continuous improvement in collaboration with architecture, product, and business teams

Requirements

  • Completed degree (university or university of applied sciences) in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of experience developing production-ready AI/software solutions with a strong focus on LLM-based applications, agent systems, or intelligent automation
  • Strong proficiency in Python and modern AI/orchestration frameworks or patterns (e.g., LangChain/LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, OpenAI/Azure/open-source LLMs, RAG, tool use, evaluation frameworks)
  • Experience with containerization and operations (Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift)
  • CI/CD as well as observability and testing practices for production AI systems
  • Good understanding of security, privacy/data protection, and enterprise requirements (e.g., OAuth2/OIDC, secrets management, multi-tenancy, access control concepts)
  • Ability to translate business requirements into robust AI solutions
