About the role
- Manage a team of professionals in the development, implementation, execution, and maintenance of regulatory and operational risk/compliance initiatives
- Assess the implications of business decisions that involve legal, regulatory or operational/compliance risk
- Manage the implementation of all new and changed policies, regulations and laws that affect the business line
- Prepare and present updates and communication to senior management
- Manage relationships and communications with Internal Audit, Compliance Risk Management, examiners, auditors and the Legal Department
- Support business line by providing technical compliance expertise
- Manage the process of identifying and reporting non-compliant processes or outcomes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Minimum seven years’ relevant industry experience, to include two years of compliance experience and work leadership experience
- Thorough technical operational risk/compliance knowledge
- Strong project management skills
- Strong analytical abilities and problem solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Minimum four years’ supervisory / work leadership experience preferred
