About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Plan and conduct new employee orientation.
  • Identify and manage training and development needs for employees
  • Administer HR policies and procedures
  • Administer and ensure compensation and benefits are in line with company policies and legislation
  • Support annual performance review.
  • Implement and monitor performance management system
  • Handle employee complaints, grievances and disputes
  • Administer employee discipline processes, Facilitate Performance Improvement Plans
  • Maintain the human resource information system and employee database (including certifications)
  • Coordinate employee safety, welfare and wellness
  • Maintain knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting HR functions
  • Create onboarding plans and educating newly hired employees on HR policies, internal procedures and regulations
  • Support internal messaging and marketing.
  • Manage and track internal customer satisfaction
  • Assisting with various regulatory reports
  • Manage subcontractor reviews and files
  • Conduct exit interviews.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5 years of experience in human resources management, business administration or equivalent
  • Proven experience as an HR Generalist
  • Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures
  • Good knowledge of employment/labor laws
  • Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; HRIS systems (e.g. PeopleSoft) will be a plus
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Aptitude in problem-solving
  • Desire to work as a team with a results driven approach
