About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Plan and conduct new employee orientation.
- Identify and manage training and development needs for employees
- Administer HR policies and procedures
- Administer and ensure compensation and benefits are in line with company policies and legislation
- Support annual performance review.
- Implement and monitor performance management system
- Handle employee complaints, grievances and disputes
- Administer employee discipline processes, Facilitate Performance Improvement Plans
- Maintain the human resource information system and employee database (including certifications)
- Coordinate employee safety, welfare and wellness
- Maintain knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting HR functions
- Create onboarding plans and educating newly hired employees on HR policies, internal procedures and regulations
- Support internal messaging and marketing.
- Manage and track internal customer satisfaction
- Assisting with various regulatory reports
- Manage subcontractor reviews and files
- Conduct exit interviews.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5 years of experience in human resources management, business administration or equivalent
- Proven experience as an HR Generalist
- Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures
- Good knowledge of employment/labor laws
- Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; HRIS systems (e.g. PeopleSoft) will be a plus
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Aptitude in problem-solving
- Desire to work as a team with a results driven approach
