About the role
- Technical leadership of two junior project managers, as well as organizational leadership of internal and external specialists
- Planning, coordination and final implementation of capital investment projects
- Project cost control and presentation of milestones
- Identification of technical optimization potentials and their translation into feasible project plans
- Engineering tasks such as preparing specifications, tendering and awarding orders for plant components
- Compliance with legal requirements (BImSchG – Federal Immission Control Act, WHG – Water Resources Act, ATEX)
- Commissioning and successful handover of plants to production
- Troubleshooting technical faults and optimizing existing production and utility systems
Requirements
- Degree in engineering
- Minimum of 5 years' professional experience in project execution including cost planning, ideally in the chemical or process industry
- Strong decision-making skills and excellent communication
- Strong hands-on mentality with a profound understanding of production and utility systems
- Enjoy discovering and driving innovation
- High safety awareness and experience in explosion protection (Ex protection)
