About the role

  • Develop and customize SAP ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, conversions, and enhancements to support business processes.
  • Design and implement CPI integration scenarios to integrate SAP and non-SAP systems.
  • Collaborate with functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing for developed solutions.
  • Provide production support and troubleshooting for SAP ABAP and CPI-related issues.
  • Stay updated with SAP technologies and best practices to suggest improvements and optimizations.
  • Document technical designs, configurations, and development activities.
  • Participate in project planning, estimation, and deployment activities as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working with SAP ABAP development, and 4 years’ experience working with CPI.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP CPI (Cloud Platform Integration) development and configuration.
  • Proficiency in ABAP programming including ABAP Objects, BAPIs, BADI, User Exits, and IDOCs.
  • Experience with SAP Fiori/UI5 development is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of SAP functional modules such as SD, MM, FI/CO, etc.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Good communication skills with the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • SAP certification in ABAP development/ SAP Integration Suite is preferred.
