About the role

  • Be the voice that helps customers grow, guiding them to better devices and opportunities
  • Handle customer upgrades and device requests
  • Verify customer information to keep everyone safe
  • Help customers choose the right plans for their needs
  • Sell additional products that enhance the customer experience
  • Provide support with devices and apps
  • Work directly with customers daily within the Customer Retention group
  • Report to the Telesales Team Leader; onsite in Kampala

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in a call center or customer service environment
  • Sales or telesales experience preferred
  • Strong communication skills
  • Patient and empathetic
  • Attention to detail
  • Results-oriented and able to work independently
  • Team player
  • Experience with CRM systems or mobile financial services (advantage)
