About the role
- Be the voice that helps customers grow, guiding them to better devices and opportunities
- Handle customer upgrades and device requests
- Verify customer information to keep everyone safe
- Help customers choose the right plans for their needs
- Sell additional products that enhance the customer experience
- Provide support with devices and apps
- Work directly with customers daily within the Customer Retention group
- Report to the Telesales Team Leader; onsite in Kampala
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in a call center or customer service environment
- Sales or telesales experience preferred
- Strong communication skills
- Patient and empathetic
- Attention to detail
- Results-oriented and able to work independently
- Team player
- Experience with CRM systems or mobile financial services (advantage)
- Legal right to work in the country you are applying to work in
