About the role

  • Make outbound calls to existing customers to tell them about smartphone upgrades and other M-KOPA products
  • Connect customers with technology and guide them toward suitable products
  • Work toward meeting sales goals and targets
  • Maintain high call quality standards and ensure every customer has a great experience
  • Manage time effectively to contact as many customers as possible each day
  • Report to the Telesales Team Lead and collaborate within the Customer Retention - Outbound team
  • Help customers discover product possibilities and support families across Uganda in accessing products

Requirements

  • Certificate, diploma, or higher qualification
  • Experience in call centers or customer service
  • Strong passion for sales
  • Good communication, persuasion, and talking with customers
  • Comfortable using basic computer tools like Outlook and Microsoft Office
  • Self-driven, results-oriented attitude
  • Enthusiastic about helping customers and committed to doing the right thing
  • Ability to work onsite in Kampala
  • Legal right to work in Uganda (application asks about work authorization)
