SMCR Analyst – FTC
M&G plcProviding Compliance support for Senior Managers & NEDs within the SMCR framework at M&G. Key responsibilities include advice on Certification processes, system support, and managing Responsibilities maps.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide advice on Certification including the process, assessment, requirements and categorisation
- Support ongoing and ad hoc reviews of the Certification population and framework
- Provide support and guidance to stakeholders within the business on anything SMCR or STAR system related
- Work with HRBP, business managers and new SMFs to prepare evidence of the firm's assessment of fitness and propriety
- Manage Responsibilities maps (MRMs) for all UK regulated entities
- Administer the maintenance of the SMCR team desk procedures and guidance materials
- Coordination of the monthly SMCR Governance Forum packs and minutes
Requirements
What you’ll need- Knowledge of the Senior Managers Certification Regime (SMCR) and its requirements
- Able to present information well and create professional PowerPoint content
- In-depth knowledge of regulatory applications process
- Previous exposure to regulation, risk and controls or a governance role
- Experience with HR Systems or SMCR Compliance systems is useful
- A grounding in applying rules and requirements to people processes
