About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for renewal of critical supplier contracts, revenue management and retention of existing contracts
- Stakeholder relationship and engagement
- Renewal process and pipeline management
- Cross-functional collaboration and reporting
- Own high-value and strategize complex Tier 3 renewals
- Lead complex negotiations (pricing, multi-year deals, contracts)
- To support the development and application of Supplier Management best practice.
- Identify savings opportunities for maintenance & software licensing.
- To provide insight around M&G needs and industry / market trends to enable strategy development and identification of commercial opportunities and risks.
- To respond to queries from the wider business for contract information
- Understand software risk and compliance position and take active steps to manage and mitigate this.
- Mentor junior team members and improve processes
