About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Facilitate onboarding and capability development for new and existing paraplanners.
- Conduct quality assurance reviews of paraplanning cases, providing feedback and monitoring of quality outcomes.
- Manage clear accountabilities and stretching work objectives across the team, recognising successes and following processes to manage performance.
- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for product and process knowledge, supporting colleagues in resolving complex queries.
- Conduct quality analysis and research to arrive at the most suitable outcome for the client.
- Undertake whole of market research on new and existing clients using FE Analytics, Cashflow modelling and in-house research tools.
- Engage with stakeholders across the business to deliver a great experience for our teams, our Partners and our Clients, managing conflict and using influencing skills where required.
- Strong people management for the paraplanning team, with accountability for influencing performance and delivering structured development to improve team and individual capability.
- Keep up to date with the latest industry knowledge in order to support advisers and communicate this effectively with the team.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Relevant professional qualification (CII Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning or suitable alternative at Level 4 or above) is essential for the role.
- Previous Paraplanning or Advice experience essential.
- Detailed knowledge of assessing suitability of complex advice outcomes.
- Detailed knowledge of Pension and Investment products is essential to the role.
- Working knowledge of Risk, Compliance and Advice in UK financial services.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to form effective working relationships.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a changing environment.
- Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills to be able to work to multiple competing deadlines.
- A good knowledge of private wealth products.
