About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Identify, engage, and qualify high-quality sales-ready opportunities for the direct Sales team
- Communicate the M-Files value proposition through thoughtful outbound prospecting
- Help prospects understand how M-Files can support their organization
- Navigate objections and overcome lack of responsiveness
- Create meaningful early-stage sales opportunities
- Leverage data insights, technology, and prospecting tactics to identify and engage key accounts aligned with Sales team goals
- Work closely with Business Development, Growth Marketing, and Sales colleagues to generate pipeline and win new customers
- Occasional travel for events and internal meetings
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ year of experience in a business development or sales role, preferably for a technology vendor
- Strong prospecting skills and confidence to make cold calls, ask for referrals, and seek new leads
- Highly self-motivated, disciplined, and driven
- Ability to understand technology solutions and communicate their benefits to prospects
- Technology savvy, with working knowledge of CRM systems and tools such as Salesforce, Gong Engage, and LinkedIn preferred
