About the role
- Manage the technical and operational oversight of external law firms, personally handling strategic cases and matters with high financial or reputational impact.
- Draft and review legal arguments and theses, focusing on significant cases, high-value matters, or those with elevated risk potential.
- Identify financial risks, evaluate the legal viability of positions, and define defense strategies based on detailed case information.
- Monitor current case law and changes in labor legislation, applying this knowledge to case management and strategy reviews.
- Use legal systems and jurimetrics tools for predictive analyses, portfolio management, and decision-support.
- Support continuous review of the caseload, proposing measures to reduce case backlog, decrease provisions, and improve legal outcomes.
- Assess loss forecasts, ensuring appropriate risk classification and correct accounting for contingencies.
- Act preventively by anticipating contingencies and recommending actions that mitigate the risk of new claims.
- Contribute to internal training and to the technical development of the legal team and partner areas.
- Prepare periodic reports and executive analyses for Management and other business areas, translating portfolio data into actionable insights and metrics.
- Participate in multidisciplinary projects, promoting integration between Legal, HR, Payroll and other involved areas.
Requirements
- Law degree with active registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB).
- Strong knowledge of labor/employment law, with excellent command of applicable legislation and case law.
- Strong analytical and argumentative skills and an investigative profile.
- Organized, with a sense of priorities, proactive, and focused on practical, executable solutions.
- Postgraduate degree or specialization in Labor/Employment Law.
- Prior experience as a corporate labor attorney, preferably litigating for a medium- or large-sized company.
- Experience with data analysis and jurimetrics tools applied to labor litigation.
- Experience using Copilot or other AI tools applied to legal work, supporting drafting of pleadings, analyses and reports.
- Participation in initiatives to reduce and reorganize litigation portfolios.
