About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support teams in preparing and validating annual budgets
  • Review or prepare the monthly cash flow forecast
  • Ensure budget monitoring in support of teams and ensure proper budget execution
  • Verify consistency of accounting, budgetary and analytical allocations
  • Supervise and support budget managers in their budget variance analyses
  • Identify variances, financial risks and compliance with deadlines, alert relevant stakeholders and propose corrective actions
  • Produce and validate financial data required for accounting closings
  • Support teams in preparing and validating donor budgets, financing plans and adjustments related to contract amendments
  • Monitor donor-funded budgets in support of teams
  • Ensure compliance with financing plans and correct analytical allocation of expenses
  • Support teams in preparing and validating interim and final financial reports for donors
  • Oversee financial monitoring of the France sector grants (cash flow, earmarked funds, provisions) and contribute to optimizing these processes in the new SAP ERP
  • Verify the reliability and consistency of financial data included in budgets, financing plans and reports prepared for donors
  • Contribute to the rollout of the SAP ERP
  • Support and train stakeholders within your scope
  • Participate in updating procedures
  • Contribute to the briefing and onboarding process
  • Participate in closing operations in SAP
  • Disseminate financial procedures and tools
  • Provide technical support to teams on financial procedures and tools
  • Organize and deliver training sessions
  • Conduct briefings and debriefings for staff responsible for budget monitoring

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Degree in finance or financial management (minimum Bac+4 / at least four years of higher education)
  • At least 4 years of professional experience in a similar role
  • Ability to train and support teams with a pedagogical approach
  • Excellent command of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Fluent written and spoken French

  • Six-month fixed-term contract (CDD), starting 1 September 2026
