With mentorship from the Account Team, learn the foundations of account management and the basics of other departments
Support the agency team by taking responsibility for: coordinating schedules and project trackers ensuring project deadlines are met maintaining a who’s who on respective brands - clients’ names, titles, responsibilities, and contact information document management and organization to include all briefing documents, scope of work, presentations, conference reports, and any relevant material provided by clients.
creating an accessible history of any given project
Assist AEs in ongoing competitive analysis and weekly reporting of account status to ensure both internal and external teams are up to speed on current marketplace trends and are aware of any in-market examples of creative excellence
Be an extra pair of eyes, proofreading all external communications
Attend and participate in meetings as opportunity permits; meeting attendance isn’t passive, so ensure that your attendance equals active participation
With guidance, begin to build rapport and credibility with clients as opportunity permits
Begin learning the ingredients of great strategic marketing communications plans and the roles of various media channels within those plans
Find opportunities to build up your presentations skills
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Up to 1 year experience in an agency environment preferred
An effective communicator, both written and verbal
A good listener, able to take in information and quickly suss out what’s next
Organized, detail-oriented and able to anticipate potential issues
A multi-tasker that can handle the pressure of multiple assignments at once
Resourceful, inquisitive and resilient
Positive outlook and good people skills
Well-versed in Microsoft Office, Google Apps, and Keynote
