About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work cross functionally to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions.
- Design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines to support optimization and improvement of product development, sales, marketing techniques and business strategies.
- Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques.
- Develop custom data models, pipelines, and architecture to apply to large-scale data sets.
- Build scalable, reliable data infrastructure to optimize customer experiences, revenue generation, and other business outcomes.
- Coordinate with different functional teams to implement data solutions and monitor pipeline performance.
- Develop processes and tools to monitor and analyze data pipeline performance, data quality, and data accuracy, including responsible AI practices.
- Champion innovation in data engineering practices, evaluating and introducing new tools, architectures, and techniques to keep the organization at the leading edge.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of five (5) years experience building data pipelines and engineering large-scale data sets
- Advanced level SQL coding & query optimization
- Experience with healthcare data and standard UB/HCFA claim fields
- Experience with data pipelines and architecture in Snowflake on Cloud Platforms (strongly preferred)
- Experience using programming languages (Python, SQL, etc.) to build data pipelines and process large data sets.
- Experience working with Java, Spark and/or Python
- Experience working in Project Management tools (Jira, Confluence)
