About the role

  • Architect, implement, and optimize cloud-based solutions leveraging industry best practices.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and drive continuous improvement and innovation across DevOps practices.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design and deploy robust, automated systems.
  • Monitor and maintain the health of the cloud environment, identifying and resolving issues proactively to minimize downtime and incidents.
  • Manage core AWS infrastructure in a sophisticated multi-account environment and enable teams to own their infrastructure by producing standards, guidelines, and automation platforms.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of AWS cloud experience.
  • 5+ years of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience with Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation.
  • 5+ years of experience with Kubernetes technologies and ability to design and diagnose production grade deployments at scale.
  • 5+ years of production grade coding experience with languages such as Bash, Python and Golang for scripting and automation of services.
  • 5+ years of experience with containerization, the docker ecosystem and related tooling.
  • Participant in the on-call rotation.
