Accountant

• Implement and maintain consistent accounting practices across portfolio companies.
• Ensure timely and accurate month-end accounting closes for portfolio companies and holding company.
• Assist with preparation of consolidated financial reports for the holding company.
• Oversee offshore and potential US-based resources
• Support the financial onboarding of newly acquired companies and their finance leaders.
• Manage audit work for the holding company and its portfolio companies.
• Support the building of annual budgets across the portfolio.
• Assist organization-wide initiatives such as system migrations, improving processes &amp; controls, compliance with accounting guidelines, metrics tracking, etc.

System Administrator

• Update and resolve Help Desk tickets in a professional and timely manner.
• Follows defined workflow and processes for IT administrative tasks.
• Research, install, test, and troubleshoot software and hardware issues.
• Assist with escalated tickets as needed, providing guidance and assistance to team members.
• Educate users on applications and resolutions in a prompt and professional manner.
• Prioritize tickets based on client needs and priorities.
• Coordinate Helpdesk response to incidents and outages.
• Plan, execute, and document large-scale IT projects (such as migrations, server changes, and software rollouts).
• Maintain servers and cloud systems, including network hardware, firewalls, virtual servers, Exchange and Teams.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure high levels of customer support and satisfaction.

Systems Administrator

• Manage finance and accounting functions, including budgeting, audit processes, and month-end close, in compliance with U.S. GAAP accounting standards.
• Oversee daily accounting operations, including General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll, Invoicing, Fixed Assets, Collections, Monthly Reconciliations, and Sales and Use Tax.
• Participate in and manage accounting operations, systems, and processes, setting and attaining goals while managing special projects.
• Maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for accounting and finance functions.
• Prepare and oversee financial reporting for internal, corporate, and peer group requirements.
• Take an integral role in customer billing processes, including monthly and annual price changes, billing-related incentives, and commissions.
• Liaise with banks, landlords, vendors, and suppliers.
• Provide leadership as both an individual contributor and project leader within a high-growth and entrepreneurial environment.
• Interface with state and federal agencies to ensure compliance with tax regulations and employment-related matters.
