About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design and implement infrastructure using Terraform/OpenTofu, Python, Kubernetes, and AWS
  • Collaborate with engineering, data science, and machine learning teams to implement, maintain, and improve cloud infrastructure and developer experience
  • Build, maintain, and abstract internal platform tools, developer templates, and self-service CI/CD pipelines
  • Automate infrastructure and operations tasks using scripting languages
  • Operationalize cloud security through vulnerability remediation, IAM policies, and compliance guardrails in platform pipelines
  • Monitor and analyze systems and network performance and implement proactive measures for infrastructure availability and reliability
  • Enforce IAM processes and tools supporting data privacy and protection compliance
  • Work with engineers to remediate security vulnerabilities
  • Modernize platform tooling, evolve the production EKS footprint, and optimize AWS RDS, Aurora, and ElastiCache datastores

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years in a DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure role focused on public cloud environments; AWS required
  • Experience with AWS, especially EKS, SageMaker, EC2, ECS, VPC, IAM, KMS, RDS, ELB/ALB, MWAA, and Identity Center
  • Demonstrated experience building modular, reusable Terraform or OpenTofu infrastructure
  • Experience building and maintaining Helm templates and packages
  • Experience developing CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and/or ArgoCD
  • Hands-on experience administering, scaling, and troubleshooting multi-tenant Kubernetes (EKS) environments in production
  • Strong coding skills in Python, Go, or Bash for automation scripts, tools, and integrations
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
