About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Monitor system security events using current security technologies
Investigate security incidents and respond to contain and mitigate threats
Support vulnerability assessments and risk analyses to identify and remediate weaknesses
Contribute to developing and improving security policies and procedures
Assist with compliance initiatives, including ISO 27001, GDPR, and HIPAA
Collaborate with IT and business units to implement and audit security controls
Assist with employee cybersecurity awareness training initiatives
Prepare reports on security incidents, assessments, and risk status for stakeholders
Process incoming customer security assessment requests
Keep up to date with security trends, threats, and technology
Monitor networks for security breaches, implement security measures, and respond to incidents
Report to the Sr. Manager, International Security and IT

Requirements

What you’ll need

2+ years of experience in information security, cybersecurity, or IT security roles
Healthcare experience is a plus
Experience working with international companies is a plus
Familiarity with Lyra International security infrastructure is an advantage
Strong knowledge of firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, antivirus software, encryption, and content filtering
Familiarity with security frameworks such as ISO 27001 and CIS
Ability to assess risk and apply appropriate security measures
Experience with cloud security across Azure, AWS, or GCP
Familiarity with data privacy laws and compliance requirements
BA degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Cybersecurity
Equivalent qualifications or relevant experience will also be considered
Ability to attend meetings at the London-based office when requested
May be required to work occasional off-hours during security incidents
