About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Monitor system security events using current security technologies
  • Investigate security incidents and respond to contain and mitigate threats
  • Support vulnerability assessments and risk analyses to identify and remediate weaknesses
  • Contribute to developing and improving security policies and procedures
  • Assist with compliance initiatives, including ISO 27001, GDPR, and HIPAA
  • Collaborate with IT and business units to implement and audit security controls
  • Assist with employee cybersecurity awareness training initiatives
  • Prepare reports on security incidents, assessments, and risk status for stakeholders
  • Process incoming customer security assessment requests
  • Keep up to date with security trends, threats, and technology
  • Monitor networks for security breaches, implement security measures, and respond to incidents
  • Report to the Sr. Manager, International Security and IT

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2+ years of experience in information security, cybersecurity, or IT security roles
  • Healthcare experience is a plus
  • Experience working with international companies is a plus
  • Familiarity with Lyra International security infrastructure is an advantage
  • Strong knowledge of firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, antivirus software, encryption, and content filtering
  • Familiarity with security frameworks such as ISO 27001 and CIS
  • Ability to assess risk and apply appropriate security measures
  • Experience with cloud security across Azure, AWS, or GCP
  • Familiarity with data privacy laws and compliance requirements
  • BA degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Cybersecurity
  • Equivalent qualifications or relevant experience will also be considered
  • Ability to attend meetings at the London-based office when requested
  • May be required to work occasional off-hours during security incidents
