About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Work closely with Lyra’s Data, Product, Engineering, and Clinical teams on AI/ML initiatives
Enhance the Lyra platform to serve the needs of providers and clients
Become an expert in diverse data sources and partner with data engineers to build pipelines applying clinical logic to raw data
Extract actionable insights and develop predictive and generative models
Implement rigorous evaluation frameworks to support product iterations
Complete time-sensitive ad hoc data requests for internal and external stakeholders
Create a frictionless experience for mental health patients, providers, and employers

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of data analysis in an industry setting
Experience in product analytics in the AI/ML space preferred
Experience partnering with engineering and product teams
Experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders across technical, business, and ideally clinical domains
Understanding of statistical applications and methods, including experimentation, probabilities, and regression
Experience applying hypothesis testing in an industry or research setting
Experience developing comprehensive analyses using irregular data from disparate sources
Strong SQL proficiency, including complex queries with multiple schemas and tables
Graduate-level Statistics coursework with MS in a quantitative field preferred
Interest in public health is a plus
Experience with AI/ML R&D, such as prompt engineering and RAG
Experience with Python for cleaning and analyzing data, parsing JSON structured data, calling APIs, creating user-defined functions, and automation
Remote-based candidates must be physically located within the United States
