About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work closely with Lyra’s Data, Product, Engineering, and Clinical teams on AI/ML initiatives
- Enhance the Lyra platform to serve the needs of providers and clients
- Become an expert in diverse data sources and partner with data engineers to build pipelines applying clinical logic to raw data
- Extract actionable insights and develop predictive and generative models
- Implement rigorous evaluation frameworks to support product iterations
- Complete time-sensitive ad hoc data requests for internal and external stakeholders
- Create a frictionless experience for mental health patients, providers, and employers
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of data analysis in an industry setting
- Experience in product analytics in the AI/ML space preferred
- Experience partnering with engineering and product teams
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders across technical, business, and ideally clinical domains
- Understanding of statistical applications and methods, including experimentation, probabilities, and regression
- Experience applying hypothesis testing in an industry or research setting
- Experience developing comprehensive analyses using irregular data from disparate sources
- Strong SQL proficiency, including complex queries with multiple schemas and tables
- Graduate-level Statistics coursework with MS in a quantitative field preferred
- Interest in public health is a plus
- Experience with AI/ML R&D, such as prompt engineering and RAG
- Experience with Python for cleaning and analyzing data, parsing JSON structured data, calling APIs, creating user-defined functions, and automation
- Remote-based candidates must be physically located within the United States
