About the role

  • The Federal Contracts & Compliance Manager will own and manage federal contract administration and regulatory compliance, including GSA Schedule management, FAR/GSAM interpretation, protests, audits, and contractual risk advisory.
  • Serve as owner of the organization’s GSA Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) contract(s).
  • Manage and oversee:
  • Contract modifications (pricing, SINs, terms)
  • Option renewals and mass modifications
  • Schedule scope determinations and ordering guidance
  • Ensure compliance with GSA sales reporting, IFF, disclosures, and administrative requirements.
  • Support Contractor Assessment Visits (IOAs), audits, and contracting officer inquiries.
  • Advise leadership and program teams on:
  • Contract rights and obligations
  • Regulatory risk
  • Compliance posture
  • Develop and maintain internal compliance guidance, policies, and templates.
  • Provide internal legal and procedural support for:
  • Agency-level protests
  • GAO bid protests
  • Corrective action engagements
  • Assist with drafting, coordinating, and reviewing:
  • Protest filings and supplemental submissions
  • Agency responses and correspondence
  • Status reports and declarations
  • Support contract claims, disputes, and interpretation matters under the Contract Disputes Act (CDA), including REAs.
  • Advise on:
  • Organizational Conflicts of Interest (OCI)
  • Procurement integrity issues
  • Review solicitations for contractual and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Contracts, Law, Public Policy, or a related field
  • 6+ years of experience supporting federal contracts, compliance, or government procurement
  • Demonstrated experience with:
  • GSA Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) administration
  • Contract modifications, renewals, and CO engagement
  • Working knowledge of:
  • FAR and GSAM
  • Federal acquisition processes and task‑order contracting
  • Experience supporting one or more of the following:
  • Agency‑level or GAO bid protests
  • Contract audits (e.g., GSA IOA, OIG)
  • Claims, REAs, or CDA‑related matters
  • Strong written and analytical skills, including the ability to draft and review compliance and protest‑related documentation
  • Ability to coordinate with internal stakeholders and outside legal counsel.
