About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • - Assist Assistant Finance Manager in preparing statutory financial statements and supporting schedules.
  • - Support external audit process, including gathering supporting documents, addressing audit queries, involve in annual stock take and preparing audit schedules, etc.
  • - Support in various accounting and finance operations, including reconciliation, reclassification, etc
  • - Ensure timely and accurate month end and year end closing, including accrual/provision posting, recurring journal preparation, reconciliation, etc
  • - Ensure timely submission of statutory filings, such as SST, IST, tax related filing, government statistic report, ESG report, etc.
  • - Work closely with shared service team (O2C, P2P, R2R) to ensure completeness of accounting transactions.
  • - Provide financial analysis and variance analysis support for cross functional projects.
  • - Support process improvements, SOP updates and implementation of best practices within finance function.
  • - Ensure compliance with financial standards and company policies.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • - Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting, ACCA or CPA qualified or equivalent.
  • - 1-2 years of relevant work experience
  • - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SAP is highly preferred
  • - FMCG exposure is a plus
  • - Organized, attentive to details, problem solver and a self-starter
  • - A team player able to work with multiple teams/stakeholders
