About the role

  • Achieve business results by focusing on net and gross sales, as well as P&L contributions.
  • Oversee the implementation of sales strategies and promotional activities to meet business goals while maintaining effective budget control for sales and expenses.
  • Meet sell-in and sell-through sales targets, ensuring business planning accuracy.
  • Manage and track the product registration process in Malaysia to ensure timely completion.
  • Responsible for forecasting, sampling management and seamless planning and execution of product launches and trade/retailer activities, in collaboration with the marketing, sales, and training teams, following the Marketing Calendar.
  • Track and report ROI for all programs, providing management with feedback.
  • Conduct market trend analysis, monitor competitors’ activities, and plan proactive actions.
  • Oversee business and channel sales performance, including launch follow-up and action plan development.
  • Implement a door-by-door marketing plan (CRM, events, and promotions) to drive brand awareness, customer recruitment, retention, and increased purchase consumption.
  • Play a key role in new POS openings, including boutiques and SIS.
  • Manage the budget and take full responsibility for P&L.
  • Define the brand’s local CRM campaign priorities and build the CRM campaign calendar.
  • Ensure customer segmentation remains up to date and relevant for each campaign, while developing engaging brand communications aligned with the right product mix.
  • Master, improve, and maximize the use of customer information (purchase history) to develop relevant marketing programs and execute CRM analytics.
  • Strategize, develop, and execute CRM programs for the brand, evaluating campaigns against target KPIs and sharing key learnings.
  • Provide consumption-based data analysis and insights to support the enterprise in understanding market trends and dynamics.
  • Conduct monthly retail audits and report on brand launches, animations and promotions.
  • Analyze competitor activities.
  • Maintain a productive, business-friendly relationship with internal and external stakeholders
  • Fostering a professional and respectful attitude and communication at all levels within and outside the company.

Requirements

  • Hold a tertiary qualification in Business Management, Finance, or a relevant specialization.
  • Have more than 6 years of brand management and/or marketing experience in the beauty and/or FMCG industry.
  • Possess strong business insights, business acumen, and a solid understanding of the P&L.
  • Demonstrate excellent analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and an entrepreneurial spirit as a self-starter.
  • Strong people management experience with the ability to motivate, inspire, coach, and develop teams.
