About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the overall accounting operations of LUXASIA Retail Corporation, ensuring complete, accurate and timely recording of financial transactions
- Oversee month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing activities and ensure compliance with reporting timelines
- Prepare financial statements, management reports and financial schedules
- Ensure proper accounting treatment and reconciliation of balance sheet and income statement accounts
- Monitor the accuracy and integrity of financial data in SAP and other finance systems
- Provide financial analysis and insights to Management to support business decisions
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory and general ledger activities and controls
- Monitor customer collections, vendor payments and working capital
- Ensure timely preparation and filing of tax returns and reports, including EWT, CWT and VAT
- Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes
- Oversee cash flow planning, liquidity and treasury-related activities
- Establish and maintain financial and accounting controls; coordinate internal and external audits
- Lead finance systems enhancements, automation, process improvements and master-data management
- Manage third-party finance service providers and monitor SLAs
- Coordinate with Group Finance and cross-functional stakeholders
- Lead, coach and develop the Finance team
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance or a related field
- At least 8–10 years of progressive experience in Finance and Accounting, with experience in a managerial or supervisory role
- Strong experience in financial accounting, reporting, taxation, budgeting and financial controls
- Experience managing end-to-end accounting operations
- CPA qualification is preferred
- Experience in SAP HANA B1 is strongly preferred
- Experience in a multinational, retail, distribution or FMCG/consumer business environment is an advantage
