About the role
- Play a key role supporting the financial operations of Lush Manufacturing entities across the globe, reporting to the Manufacturing Board.
- Review monthly and forecasted financial reports from five global manufacturing entities, including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cashflow Statement, Inventory forecasts, and Capital Expenditure; validate and challenge results before submission to Group Finance.
- Lead development of new financial reports in response to evolving business requirements.
- Oversee consolidation of the monthly Global Management Pack and the annual budget; deliver clear, jargon-free presentations of financial results to senior management; produce the written Global Manufacturing report submitted monthly to Group Finance as part of the Leadership Finance Update.
- Perform detailed financial analysis to deliver insights, identify KPIs, and recommend strategies to improve financial outcomes.
- Implement and uphold strong internal controls, maintain the Group Manufacturing Accounting Manual, and introduce or update policies and procedures.
- Support coordination of the global year-end audit, assist international teams with month-end and year-end procedures, resolve queries, and manage audit requests.
- Support recruitment, training and development of global manufacturing Finance Managers and collaborate with senior finance leaders to resolve operational issues.
- Collect and consolidate Capital Expenditure budgets and provide regular reporting.
- Participate in business projects, offering financial support and guidance across different functions; potential for international travel and on-site collaboration with local finance teams.

- Solid project management capabilities.
- Advanced analytical and presentation skills.
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
- Background in audit.
- Experience managing teams.
- Proficiency with ERP systems and familiarity with Workday Adaptive Planning (desirable).
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment (advantageous).
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Familiarity with Google Workspace applications.
- Experience in financial and business report writing.
