About the role
- Lead the design and development of Salesforce solutions leveraging Communications Cloud, Field Service Lightning, CPQ, Enterprise Product Catalog, and Salesforce core functionality.
- Build and optimize B2C and B2B solutions, including customizations via Apex classes, triggers, Lightning Web Components (LWCs), and Visualforce pages.
- MACD (Move, Add, Change, Delete) processes management.
- Design and implement integrations with third-party systems using REST and SOAP APIs, MuleSoft, middleware, and ETL tools; focus on data flows between partner Salesforce instances.
- Performance optimization for scalability and maintainability.
- Stakeholder collaboration to gather requirements and translate into specs.
- Best practices in security and deployment.
- Testing and Quality Assurance; unit testing and system testing oversight.
- Innovation: stay current on Salesforce releases; implement enhancements.
- Mentorship: provide technical guidance.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in Salesforce development.
- 3–5 years of specialized experience with Salesforce Communications Cloud, Field Service Lightning, CPQ, and the Enterprise Product Catalog.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer II, Communications Cloud Specialist, Field Service Lightning Consultant, and CPQ Specialist are strongly preferred.
- Experience in the fiber or telecommunications industry is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience translating technical details into business-friendly language for non-technical stakeholders.
- Proactive, independent, and ability to take initiative to keep on-task and on-target.
