About the role

  • Work as a Software Engineering Intern on the Sourcing, Demand team building an electronics supply chain platform
  • Be treated as a regular product-team member and take responsibility for shipping features end-to-end (brainstorming to production)
  • Deliver user value consistently by contributing to cross-functional product team development efforts
  • Build expertise across the stack (React, TypeScript, Rust, Postgres, Kubernetes) to accelerate product development
  • Participate actively in agile ceremonies: retrospectives, dailies, and other team events to improve efficiency and collaboration
  • Propose improvements to tools, processes, and technical approaches to raise engineering excellence
  • Develop a deep understanding of users and the electronics industry and translate that into product decisions
  • Potential path to working-student positions after a minimum 3-month internship; past interns may be hired full-time

Requirements

  • Proficient in Rust (required)
  • Familiarity with actix-web (Rust web framework) is beneficial
  • Knowledge of React and TypeScript for frontend development
  • Experience with PostgreSQL for data persistence
  • Experience with Redis for caching and queues
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes and tools: Kubestack, terraform, flux, flagger, garden-io
  • Familiarity with monitoring/observability tools: Sentry and Honeycomb
  • Experience with Azure cloud services
  • Motivation and ability to accelerate technical progress; growth mindset emphasized
  • Ability to ship features end-to-end as part of a cross-functional product team
  • No formal minimum qualifications list; emphasis on motivation over CV
