About the role
- Develop high-quality teacher guides, student books, and supplementary materials for structured pedagogy programs.
- Ensure materials are informed by evidence on the science of teaching.
- Optimize materials for all students, including those with learning differences.
- Maintain high standards for material formatting and design.
- Support the development of impactful training materials.
- Lead and/or assist in planning and delivering training sessions.
- Provide ongoing monitoring and coaching to country teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
- A minimum of five years of relevant experience in international development, education, or nonprofit sectors.
- Thorough knowledge of research and policy relating to foundational learning.
- Understanding of curriculum development and design of teaching materials.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Experience supporting foundational literacy programs.
- Proven track record of overseeing quality of work.
- Outstanding organizational skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to the mission of the Luminos Fund.
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills.
- Well-developed negotiation and communication skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
