About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Work in cross-functional teams to support Treasury’s liquidity, funding and capital management objectives.
  • Participate in Treasury projects and collaborate with Product Owners, IT Delivery Leads, Business Analysts and Treasury stakeholders on topics such as liquidity forecasting, funding, securitisation and debt instruments.
  • Support Treasury analytics, reporting and decision-making through data-driven insights.
  • Support ILAAP, ICAAP and other capital, liquidity and regulatory assessment processes.
  • Create loan tapes, manage collateral pools and optimise collateral allocation across funding programmes.
  • Use SQL, Python, R and other analytical tools for data analysis, reporting and process automation.
  • Maintain Treasury reporting datasets, investigate reporting issues and data discrepancies, and identify root causes.
  • Build dashboards and management reports using Tableau, Power BI and related reporting tools.
  • Translate Treasury business needs into IT requirements and leverage AI-enabled solutions to improve processes, data quality and decision-making.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Previous experience in coding, data analytics, IT/business analysis, Treasury, Financial Planning, or financial reporting within financial services, banking, or fintech, with willingness to develop complementary skills across both business and technical areas.
  • Experience or strong interest in learning SQL, Python, R or other relevant programming and analytics tools.
  • Experience with data warehousing and data visualisation tools would be an advantage.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Knowledge of, or interest in learning, Treasury products and activities such as FX derivatives, interest rate swaps, fixed income instruments, nostro, securitisation, and liquidity and capital management.
  • Understanding or strong interest in learning deposit dynamics, loan dynamics, mortgage products, broader banking products, the competitive environment in the Baltics and Luminor’s key strengths.
  • Knowledge of, or strong interest in learning, the regulatory frameworks, laws and regulations under which banks operate would be preferred.
  • Fluent English is required in spoken and written communication due to working on Pan-Baltic level.
