About the role
- Provide technical leadership in designing, developing, and implementing document management, generation, archiving and signing solutions.
- Ensure architectural best practices and technology standards are followed to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performing financial products.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to align technology solutions with strategic goals.
- Lead code reviews, technical discussions, and mentoring sessions for engineering teams.
- Establish and lead Communities of Practice such as Software Engineering, QA & Test Automation, DevOps, and Cloud, ensuring continuous learning and best practice adoption.
- Develop and maintain frameworks, guidelines, and accelerators for engineering excellence.
- Promote automation, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native adoption to improve software development lifecycle efficiency.
- Engage with internal and external technology communities, sharing knowledge and insights.
- Optimize deployment pipelines for faster time-to-market and operational excellence.
- Embed quality practices into the software development lifecycle (shift-left testing approach).
Requirements
- Solid technical background in banking and fintech solutions, with understanding and hands-on experience in software development, architecture, etc.
- Strong leadership skills, with a history of leading teams to success
- Experience in building document management systems using SharePoint Online and/or AWS services is a huge plus
- Understanding of the implications of the key regulations impacting finance sector
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language, ideally Java.
- Expertise in microservices architecture, API development, and event-driven systems.
- Fluent English is required in spoken and written communication due to working on the Pan-Baltic level.
