About the role
- Lead, coach, and grow Tech Sales Specialists and pre-sales focused Solutions Engineers; define best practices, playbooks, and enablement material.
- Partner with VP Client Solutions to evolve the global Solutions operating model.
- Act as senior technical authority in enterprise customer meetings; build credibility with CIOs, CTOs, CISOs, and Legal Ops leaders.
- Support AEs on large strategic deals, especially post-POV opportunities; oversee tailored demo builds and POVs for large enterprise customers.
- Own the technical narrative across AI, Architecture, Integration Components, and Customer Environments; create repeatable assets (demo videos, one-pagers, reference architectures, FAQ guides).
- Instil a documentation-first culture in pre-sales and ensure technical feedback loops reach Product and Engineering.
Requirements
- 5+ years’ experience in pre-sales / solutions engineering leadership at a SaaS vendor (AI, cybersecurity, enterprise SaaS preferred).
- Proven ability to lead and scale Sales Engineering / Tech Sales teams.
- Strong technical foundation across AI/ML fundamentals (NLP, model explainability).
- Cloud-native architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Security and compliance frameworks (SOC2, ISO 27001, GDPR).
- System integrations and APIs.
- Demonstrated success supporting large enterprise deals and POVs.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills — able to explain complex technical topics to senior business and technical stakeholders.
- Comfortable as both a player-coach: leading a team while jumping into critical deals hands-on.
