About the role
- Be a true leader with responsibility for designing, developing, and launching software alongside talented teams of engineers, project managers and professional services teams
- Craft and communicate a compelling product vision and strategy with stakeholders, including internal teams, clients and prospects
- Own the product life cycle from conception to delivery; including requirements gathering, documentation creation, timelines specification, user experience analysis, quality assurance, product performance and product usage
- Work with a cross-functional teams of designers, engineers, data scientists, trainers and financial institutions to build and bring innovative products to market
- Work with user, platform and third-party data to develop new and exciting features that improve the financial lives of consumers
- Engage with the Lumin Digital community and help to make Lumin Digital a better organization through honest, candid and respectful feedback
- Monitor and measure launched products to continuously improve usability and incorporate observations into the product development process
- Connect with clients, prospects, vendors and others in the Fintech industry at conferences, trade shows and onsite events
Requirements
- BA/BS degree or equivalent educational and professional experience
- 5+ years of experience in product management (or equivalent) with 2+ years in lending/LOS/digital account opening/credit onboarding at a bank, credit union, fintech, or vendor.
- Experience launching LOS capabilities (or adjacent) with demonstrated outcome lifts.
- Excellent documentation, stakeholder leadership, and auditor-friendly habits.
- Proficiency with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
- Your experience in one or more of these areas will help you excel:
- Small-business and/or consumer underwriting experience.
- Familiarity with government regulations and loan compliance.
- Core/servicing integration exposure.
- Experience reading credit bureaus, determining decision logic, analyzing fraud mitigation data, and integrating eSigning
