About the role
- Provide senior-level field leadership across multiple projects, ensuring installations meet the organization’s standards for safety, quality, and performance.
- Oversee and support Foremen, coordinate with Project Managers and Engineering, and drive consistent execution across job sites.
- Develop and refine field processes, standard operating procedures, and best practices that improve consistency, efficiency, and overall field performance.
- Maintain and enforce a high standard of AV installation quality across all projects.
- Perform regular jobsite walkthroughs to assess craftsmanship, progress, and adherence to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Ensure compliance with company installation standards, cabling practices, labeling, testing protocols, and commissioning requirements.
- Promote a strong safety culture across all job sites. Conduct safety audits, toolbox talks, and recurring safety trainings.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in commercial audiovisual installation, with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory or foreman capacity.
- Strong understanding of AV systems, cable infrastructure, DSPs, control systems, and commissioning practices.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop field teams.
- Experience creating or improving field procedures, workflows, or standards.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety requirements.
- OSHA 30 certification required.
- OSHA 10 certification required for overseeing subordinate crews.
- Ability to travel between multiple job sites regularly.
