About the role
- Industrial engineer will design efficient systems and mechanisms that integrate and optimize manpower, information, capital, and materials to make products.
- Plan and design manufacturing operation to minimize production costs.
- Industrial Engineering is working to support manufacturing that executes resource (Space, Equipment, HPU) to meet demand requirements, and find ways to prevent waste and inefficiency in production processes.
- Motion and time study to standardize the standard time, capacity, and manpower.
- Process and operation flow study to standardize manufacturing lead time, and inventory control.
- Design process and material flow, manufacturing layout and space utilization.
- Collect, observe and analyze manufacturing activities and provides recommendations to improve operation efficiency and cost.
- Involve new products team in early stage.
- Design mechanism to monitor and control manufacturing performance, operation costs for improvement opportunities.
- To do the assignment job according to supervisor.
Requirements
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in industrial engineering, Production Engineering or Related field
- Minimum of 2-5 years work in manufacturing environment.
- Certified Lean Master and/or Six Sigma Black Belt would be an advantage
- Leadership, communication, coaching and training skills is a must
- Able to work under pressure
- Be able to prioritize tasks and effectively in a dynamic environment
- Capability to work both analytical and hands-on to solve problems
- Teamwork and self-motivated
- Oral and written communication skills
- Good communicate in English
