About the role
- Lead the extended supply chain team during NPI
- Architect and implement a sustainable and predictable supply chain
- Project planning, schedule updating, and proactive risk management
- Manage work commitments ensuring on-time delivery of required deliverables
- Provide high quality management reporting of status, risks & issues
- Communicate extensively throughout the supply chain for alignment
- Drive cross-functional teams to optimize supply chain based on various factors
- Onboard suppliers to support new technologies and NPIs
- Drive dual sourcing activities to mitigate supply risk
- Analyze BOM cost for cost reduction opportunities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Engineering or other relevant field or equivalent practical experience
- Up to 8 years of prior experience in Supply Chain, Sourcing, Project Management, or equivalent experience
- Understanding of program milestones and design/development phase gating processes
- Exceptional written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong process analysis and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of business software: Word, Excel, Project and Power Point
- Willingness to travel and flexibility for new assignments
