About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and manage relationships with interior designers, architects, contractors, developers, and high-value residential clients.
- Guide clients through the full sales process, including discovery, product recommendations, quoting, sourcing, follow-up, and order management.
- Support both transactional and project-based sales opportunities across lighting, furniture, and décor categories.
- Conduct business and project needs assessments to understand client goals, timelines, specifications, and purchasing requirements.
- Deliver responsive, consultative support that builds long-term trust and repeat business.
- Collaborate with clients on product solutions, lead times, logistics, and sourcing strategies to support successful project execution.
- Maintain a proactive pipeline of opportunities and consistently follow through on open quotes, active projects, and relationship-building efforts.
- Coordinate proactively with Customer Operations and fulfillment teams to ensure a seamless client experience from initial engagement through final delivery.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2+ years of experience in consultative sales, trade sales, luxury retail, showroom sales, account management, or design-focused client services.
- Experience supporting interior designers, architects, contractors, developers, or project-based clients preferred.
- Proven ability to build relationships, manage pipelines, and drive sales growth.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional, client-facing presence.
- Experience using CRM platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar pipeline management tools.
- Ability to manage both fast-moving transactional business and longer-term project opportunities.
- Interest in luxury furnishings, lighting, interiors, or architecture preferred.
