About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead, grow, and empower a high-performing engineering team.
- Co-own the technical and product vision of Forms, Tasks, and Workflows.
- Ensure team builds reliable, scalable, and increasingly intelligent tools.
- Establish Forms, Tasks, and Workflows as reliable building blocks across processes.
- Ensure permission and access-control capabilities scale as adoption grows.
- Build and sustain a high-performing team with strong ownership and engagement.
- Drive clear technical and architectural direction aligned with product strategy.
- Improve delivery predictability and maintain product velocity.
- Strengthen cross-team collaboration across the organization.
- Drive AI adoption within the team's own engineering practices.
- Deepen integration of Forms, Tasks, and Workflows into the broader LumApps platform.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 6+ years of experience in software engineering.
- Proven experience as an Engineering Manager or similar leadership role.
- Experience leading platform, product, or operations/automation-focused teams.
- Strong understanding of modern software architecture and distributed systems.
- Ability to reason about APIs, platforms, developer experience, and scalability.
- Comfortable engaging deeply in technical discussions without being a full-time IC.
- Strong people management skills with a coaching mindset.
- Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working closely with Product Managers and Designers.
- Ability to influence beyond direct authority.
- Leads with a servant-leadership mindset - removes blockers, trusts and empowers the team to make good decisions, and measures success by team outcomes rather than personal authority.
- Comfortable with agile ways of working - adapts process to what the team actually needs rather than enforcing ceremony for its own sake.
