Senior Product Experience Designer
LumAppsSenior Product Experience Designer owning end-to-end product experiences for LumApps' AI-powered Employee Hub. Collaborating with Product Managers and Engineering Leads to enhance employee experiences and workflow automation.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Shape product vision and strategy by framing meaningful user and business problems, identifying opportunities, and translating them into clear experience direction for your product area.
- Own end-to-end product experience from discovery through delivery, designing complex journeys, interaction flows, states, edge cases, and scalable solutions across desktop and mobile experiences.
- Work as part of a product trio with a Product Manager and Engineering Lead, helping the team make better decisions through user insight, evidence, strong facilitation, and clear design direction.
- Lead discovery and learning by using research, analytics, customer feedback, product usage data, and market context to deeply understand employees, managers, admins, and frontline workers.
- Apply AI thoughtfully by exploring where AI, automation, intelligent workflows, or AI-assisted interactions can create meaningful value — while keeping the experience human-centered, trustworthy, accessible, and easy to understand.
- Use AI and modern tools in your own practice to improve your design process, accelerate exploration, increase quality, and help your team work more effectively.
- Facilitate alignment by running workshops, presenting concepts, documenting decisions, and helping stakeholders converge around clear product and design choices.
- Raise the bar for product experience by contributing to design quality, coherence, accessibility, system thinking, and better ways of working across the product organization.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven experience as a Senior Product Designer, Senior UX Designer or similar role, with strong end-to-end UX and UI skills.
- Strong product thinking, with the ability to frame problems, connect design decisions to user and business outcomes, and make sound trade-offs in ambiguous situations.
- Experience owning a product area, complex feature set, or significant product initiative from discovery through delivery.
- Strong experience designing for multiple devices, including responsive web- and mobile experiences.
- Experience designing AI-assisted, automation-driven, or intelligent product experiences.
- Experience working in agile, cross-functional product teams, ideally as part of a product trio with Product Management and Engineering.
- Ability to use qualitative and quantitative insights — including research, analytics, customer feedback, and product usage data — to inform decisions.
- Strong facilitation, storytelling, and communication skills, with the ability to align stakeholders and influence product direction through evidence and clear reasoning.
- A high bar for design craft, including interaction design, information architecture, visual design, prototyping, accessibility, and systems thinking.
- Practical experience using AI tools in your own design workflow, and curiosity about how AI, automation, and intelligent product experiences can create value for users.
- A portfolio showcasing strong product thinking, complex problem solving, end-to-end design work, and measurable impact.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with business-level fluency in English.
