About the role
- Own the vision & roadmap for Luma’s Eligibility, Prior Auth, and Payments products—spanning payer connectivity, EHR touchpoints, workflow automation, and operational controls (rules, exceptions, auditability).
- Design the core capabilities and experiences that make RCM workflows reliable: eligibility checks/re-checks, benefits visibility, prior auth initiation and status tracking, document/data collection, tasking and handoffs, payment estimation and collection, and clear exception handling for edge cases.
- Customer discovery & UX: run research with revenue cycle, front desk, referrals, and care ops teams; turn messy real-world processes into simple, resilient flows that reduce manual work and minimize errors.
- Insights & experimentation: define KPIs, instrumentation, and experiments; analyze fallout points (payer timeouts, data mismatches, auth delays, denials, incomplete patient inputs, payment abandonment) to drive prioritization and iteration.
- Go-to-market readiness: partner with CS/Sales/Marketing on packaging, pricing, enablement, and launch plans; create demos, ROI narratives, and rollout/migration paths from current processes and tools.
- Cross-functional leadership: coordinate across Engineering, Security, Legal/Compliance, Support, and Partnerships to ship compliant, scalable integrations and ensure strong operational readiness.
- Deliver measurable outcomes: increase clean eligibility pass rates, reduce time-to-auth and denial rates, improve conversion to scheduled/cleared visits, raise time-to-collect performance, and keep exception/backlog rates low while maintaining compliance and trust.
