About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Prepare, contribute to and/or lead functional design sessions with clients to understand their business processes and financial requirements
- Identify gaps (customization needs) and configure the financial management module of D365 FSC to meet client requirements
- Design and configure solution for financial management processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, fixed assets and financial reporting
- Design and configure Project Management & Accounting (PMA) module of D365 FSC
- Rapidly configure, test and help train Client SME’s on D365FSC areas listed above.
- Identify functional gaps and conflicts in requirements and drive towards a solution.
- For identified gaps to application functions, distill down and document functional design requirements into Functional Design Documents (FDD’s) and lead discussions with technical team members for design feasibility and development estimates.
- Coordinate with technical staff for application build, test, and deploy activities.
- Assist and/or lead planning and executing data conversion activities.
- Drive test planning and execution.
- Work closely with Project and Program Managers and exhibit leadership in managing scope and assigned workstream/business processes
- Proven ability/experience in working in a fast-paced, start-up environment.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree: Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of Dynamics 365 F&O/FSC implementation experience
- Experience with at least three full end-to-end ERP implementations
- Strong knowledge of financial management processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting
- Experience in configuring and customizing Microsoft D365 F&O/FSC
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients and teams
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Azure Dev Ops (ADO)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Visio.
