About the role

  • The Executive Medical Director leads clinical strategy, quality improvement, and innovative care delivery for complex patient populations receiving in-home care.
  • Partner with the VP, Market Performance & Engagement to drive model success and provide leadership across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Monitor and drive metrics/KPIs to optimize outcomes and implement evidence-based interventions.
  • Oversee clinical operations, protocols, and care pathways aligned with best practices and regulatory standards.
  • Use clinical data and technology innovations (e.g., telehealth) to improve care delivery and program performance.
  • Lead and mentor multidisciplinary teams, fostering collaboration, professional growth, and clinical excellence.
  • Develop scalable clinical infrastructure, including training, onboarding, and ongoing education.
  • Identify and expand new care delivery products and programs.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and regulators.
  • Stay current on industry trends, evidence-based practices, and regulatory requirements for in-home care.
  • Oversee budgeting, resource allocation, and implementation of tools, technology, and supplies.
  • Mentor and inspire a high-performing team aligned with Lucet’s values.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, growth, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Provide training and support to ensure team adoption of best practices and tools.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree.
  • A current and unrestricted license in a U.S. state with willingness and ability to obtain additional licenses, if required.
  • Board certified in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics, or related specialty.
  • 10+ years of progressively responsible clinical leadership experience, preferably in value-based care, home-based care, and/or the management of complex patient populations.
  • 5+ years of experience managing and scaling clinical teams.
  • Proven ability to drive operational and clinical KPIs, clinical quality outcomes and performance improvement at scale.
  • Proven leadership through change management.
  • Experience managing change, modeling adaptability, and driving clinical innovation.
  • Ability to pass background check upon hire and throughout employment to include criminal felony & misdemeanor search, SSN validation/trace search (LEIE), education report (highest degree obtained), civil upper and lower search, 7-year employment report, federal criminal search, statewide criminal search, widescreen plus national criminal search, health care sanctions-state med (SAM), national sex offender registry, prohibited parties (OFAC) (terrorist watchlist), and a 10-Panel Drug Screen.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check.
