About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Elevate LSM’s established online fundraising program and identify opportunities to expand reach, deepen donor engagement, and increase sustainable revenue
- Develop and manage a comprehensive online fundraising strategy covering annual appeals, rapid-response campaigns, monthly giving, donor acquisition, and other digital initiatives
- Create and manage an annual online solicitation calendar with audiences, messages, channels, revenue goals, and performance benchmarks
- Develop campaign concepts and write donor-facing content for email, online giving pages, social media, digital advertising, and other channels
- Strengthen segmented donor journeys from initial engagement through first gift, repeat giving, monthly giving, increased giving, and long-term commitment
- Track and analyze conversion rates, average gift size, acquisition costs, donor retention, recurring giving, email performance, and campaign revenue
- Lead testing and optimization of subject lines, messaging, creative content, segmentation, donation forms, landing pages, timing, and calls to action
- Identify and evaluate fundraising trends, platforms, artificial intelligence tools, payment technologies, and other innovations
- Collaborate with Development, Communications, Programs, and Technology teams on integrated campaigns reflecting LSM’s global mission, Catholic identity, and brand
- Strengthen the online donor experience through acknowledgments, impact communications, personalized stewardship, and continued engagement opportunities
- Work under the direction of the Senior Development Director
Requirements
What you’ll need- Endorses and embodies LSM values and the Laudato Si’ paradigm
- Comfortable supporting and working in a faith-based environment
- At least 3–5 years of experience in digital fundraising, online giving, nonprofit marketing, donor communications, or a closely related field
- Demonstrated responsibility for fundraising campaigns
- Track record of developing or advancing creative digital campaigns with measurable engagement, donor growth, or revenue
- Strong knowledge of digital fundraising best practices, including donor acquisition, segmentation, conversion, monthly giving, retention, stewardship, and campaign optimization
- Exceptional writing and storytelling skills
- Strong analytical skills and experience using campaign data to make decisions, test ideas, and improve results
- Familiarity with email marketing platforms, donor databases or CRMs, online donation platforms, website content-management systems, analytics tools, and social media channels
- Entrepreneurial and experimental mindset
- Strong sense of ownership and personal accountability
- Awareness of emerging digital trends, technologies, platforms, and artificial intelligence tools relevant to fundraising and donor engagement
- Ability to independently manage multiple campaigns, maintain a detailed production calendar, meet deadlines, and coordinate across departments and time zones
- Strong collaborative instincts and ability to balance creative ambition with LSM’s mission, Catholic identity, global audience, and organizational priorities
- Experience with Opus Clip and Cap Cut is a plus
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and figma
- Experience with DonorBox
- Experience managing international or multilingual digital fundraising campaigns
- Experience strengthening or expanding a monthly giving program
- Familiarity with fundraising for climate, environmental, faith-based, advocacy, or global movement-building organizations
- Experience with digital advertising, peer-to-peer fundraising, marketing automation, conversion-rate optimization, or emerging fundraising technologies
- Fluency in English; French, Spanish, and Italian are useful
- Ability to submit a CV, cover letter, and a 1–2 minute video recorded in English
