About the role

  • Conduct media and Internet searches on companies and individuals in Japanese and English languages
  • Investigate official sources (registrars, regulators, courts, etc.) for information on companies and individuals
  • Analyse the collected information regarding risk factors
  • Prepare comprehensive reports in English adhering to internal methodologies
  • Liaise with third-party local partners
  • Document policies, procedures and work processes
  • Adhere to current data policies and procedures

Requirements

  • Good written English
  • Native-level or full professional proficiency in Japanese
  • Strong research skills, including online search tools
  • Microsoft Office Skills – Outlook, Word, Excel
  • Work experience in due diligence, KYC or compliance is desirable
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree (preferably in international relations, political science, legal studies or business management).
