About the role
- Responsible for engaging North American based clients across our existing segment
- Actively hunting and growing new business to achieve revenue targets
- Collaborate with Account Managers to find opportunities to deliver LSEG products
- Lead on engagements aligned to Wealth Management clients within your defined territory
- Work in close partnership with internal partners to proactively drive gross sales and revenue
- Developing your own opportunities and growth within your territory
- Structure, negotiate and close deals
- Manage administrative requests such as proposals, benchmark calculators, and salesforce related tasks
- Build and develop strong internal relationships with Account Managers and other key partners
- Develop the territory sales strategy to identify sales opportunities and achieve sales targets
- Seek new business or new product sales through new account acquisition and/or penetration of new buyer hubs
- Conduct high-efficiency, high-output prospecting
- Provide Wealth insights and share Refinitiv/LSEG thought leadership with customers
- Deliver customer demonstrations on Wealth products to customers and prospects
Requirements
- 5+ years of industry, sales or market experience selling desktop/fintech solutions
- Proven track record in a quota bearing sales environment
- Deep understanding of financial markets and a strong understanding of customers' business models and workflows
- Strong sales closer with world class, consultative selling and relationship skills
- Creative thinker and good sales ideation skills
- Excellent presentation skills (verbal & written)
- Strong listening skills
- Ability to organize and implement a sales plan
- Executive presence
- World class selling and relationship skills (identify, develop, & articulate proposition/ consultative selling) as a “hunter”
