About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Apply global governance frameworks consistently across quality management, accreditation, technical competence and technical support.
- Review and consider queries, issues and complaints from SMEs fairly, appropriately and in line with LRQA processes.
- Support technical improvements, risk management and related governance activity.
- Work with local Marketing, Sales and operational teams on product development and service launches to ensure new local services can be delivered consistently and repeatedly in line with regulatory, accreditation and delivery requirements.
- Partner with Greater China business leaders, Sales, Client Operations and Service Delivery to assess new market, product, customer and service opportunities, providing early risk-based advice on accreditation, regulatory, competence, impartiality and delivery requirements before commercial commitments are made.
- Own and coordinate the local license-to-operate framework for Greater China as partner, including CNCA and other regulatory, accreditation and external body requirements, scope management, office assessments, witness audit programmes, non-conformity management and closure.
- Monitor performance against LRQA standards, procedures, accreditation requirements and local regulatory obligations, identifying risks, trends and improvement opportunities and recommending corrective or preventive actions.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Relevant degree, professional qualification, or equivalent practical experience
- Strong understanding of quality management systems, technical governance, accreditation requirements and risk-based decision making
- Experience working with accreditation bodies, regulatory authorities, certification schemes, management systems or conformity assessment frameworks
- Technical or industry background with relevant experience in quality, governance, assurance, compliance or operational environments, ideally within professional services or business-to-business settings
- Experience supporting change, continuous improvement, risk management, process implementation and local adoption of global frameworks
- Strong organizational, coordination and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams and contribute to a positive and effective working environment.
