About the role
- Perform GWO conformity assessments in accordance with WINDA training and qualification
- Conduct business assurance assessments and recommend certification, deferral, suspension or withdrawal of certification in accordance with management system standards
- Produce accurate, insightful reports for clients
- Travel extensively throughout the USA for field work
- Can physically walk and climb stairs for up to five hours daily as part of field work
Requirements
- Qualified as quality and safety lead auditor
- Completed GWO Auditor Qualification Training (AQT)
- Conducted GWO 3rd party auditing for another certification body
- Evidence of WINDA auditor registration
- Substantial experience in third party auditing/assessment to integrated management systems (ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 14001)
- Be a registered Lead Auditor with IRCA, Exemplar or equivalent accredited body
- At least two years’ work experience in managing safety impacts and compliance with law and regulations
- Experience with a wide range of industry sectors, particularly in the wind energy sector
- Hold a degree (or equivalent qualification) BS Degree in Occupational, Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering or related subject
- Competent in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Email)
