About the role
- Develop profitable and sustainable sales growth at assigned or new accounts
- Liaise with service delivery teams for resource capacity and proposal support
- Maintain understanding of clients’ end use markets and competitors
- Follow up leads from technical delivery/customer service teams
- Collect feedback from clients to resolve concerns and identify trends
- Keep communication open with sales colleagues and managers
- Manage CRM plan for designated accounts including overall customer satisfaction
- Monitor client meetings and report on relevant competitor activity
Requirements
- Ideally a degree in Engineering or equivalent
- At least 3-5 years relevant working experience in a sales/marketing and client facing role
- Proven track record of winning new business
- Experience of identifying client and business opportunities
- Experience of preparing and submitting bids and tenders
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Good commercial awareness
- Strong understanding of sales and marketing principles
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Self-motivated with “can do” attitude
