About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Report directly to the Statutory Reporting & Tax Manager
  • Work closely with external partners including auditors and tax advisors
  • Produce primary statements and disclosure notes for annual report
  • Oversee production of statutory consolidation and group accounts
  • Ensure non-financial sustainability statements are up to date
  • Support interim and year end external reporting process
  • Liaise with auditors on year end deliverables
  • Prepare technical accounting papers for submission to auditors
  • Experience in applying technical accounting standards
  • Prepare monthly consolidated balance sheet & cash flow for reporting

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • ACA qualified
  • 1-2 years PQE
  • Experience of large organisations
  • Up-to-date knowledge of UKGAAP
  • Experience of preparing or auditing UKGAAP financial statements
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent time management and organisation skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Advance excel skills
  • Knowledge of IFRS 16 and lease accounting (desirable)
