About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and execute a growth-focused business development strategy to drive active market penetration and expand revenue
  • Own and build a robust sales pipeline, driving new customer acquisition and sustainable revenue growth
  • Identify and open new markets, customer segments, and revenue channels to accelerate business expansion
  • Define and optimize go-to-market approaches with a clear focus on lead generation, conversion, and customer retention
  • Establish and expand strategic partnerships and commercial channels to increase market reach and access
  • Drive commercial performance through clear KPI management, pipeline tracking, and disciplined sales execution
  • Leverage customer and market insights to prioritize opportunities, optimize sales strategies, and improve conversion rates
  • Maintain close alignment with the CEO through transparent updates on operational performance, market dynamics, and strategic risks or opportunities relevant to executive leadership and the board

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Life Sciences, or a related field
  • Proven experience (10+ years) in business development, commercial strategy, or strategic partnerships, ideally within MedTech, diagnostics, EMS, or life sciences
  • Demonstrated track record of driving significant revenue growth, market expansion, or successful strategic partnerships
  • Deep understanding of customer needs in diagnostics, medical, or life sciences, with a record of translating insights into successful commercial strategies
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Excellent track record managing growth businesses in complex and competitive markets
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-moving environment
  • Fluent in English and German
